Nestled along the Mississippi River just off the Great River Road, the Mississippi Riverfront Sunset House is a place where family, friends, and riverfront living come together.
A Place to Relax, Play & Make Memories
Offering 2,016 sq. ft. of modern living space. Three upstairs bedrooms for a comfortable and private place to relax and unwind. Sleeps 14 guests. A luxury riverfront retreat with plenty of space for family gatherings, friend getaways and group celebrations. The heated 2.5-stall garage serves as a fully outfitted entertainment zone for year-round fun. Spacious outdoor spaces include private dock, large yard, private driveway, gazebo and fire pit.
We’ve made this our family’s getaway, and when we can’t be here, we’re grateful to share it with others who want to experience life on the river. From boating and fishing to biking, hiking, swimming, visiting wineries, apple orchards, and pumpkin patches—there’s something here for every season and every guest.
Simple Traditions & Special Touches
At the Mississippi Riverfront Sunset House, we love creating simple traditions that make time together extra special. One of our favorites is enjoying a bag of warm, buttery microwave popcorn during movie nights or while watching the sunset over the river. To share a piece of that tradition with you, we’ve included complimentary popcorn for your stay. You’ll find it in the kitchen cabinet by the table, also stocked with games, cards, coloring pages, and cozy blankets to use outside by the fire. Beach towels are provided to make heading out on the water easy, and during the warmer months, we also leave freezies in the freezer for a sweet refreshing treat.
Kitchen & Dining
The kitchen is fully equipped and designed for gathering — whether you’re cooking, baking, or playing games around the table. We provide oil and seasonings. The kitchen island seats four, and the dining table is perfect for meals, games and making memories. Fire up the outdoor gas grill for a classic cookout and make the most of warm summer nights.
A coffee and tea bar is ready to fuel your mornings and transitions perfectly into cocktails — plus, there’s a beverage fridge to keep your drinks cool and ready to enjoy. We provide K cups, teas, and sugars.
Gazebo
Step through the kitchen sliding glass door and into the gazebo — the perfect spot to gather and watch the sunset. With comfortable seating and a gas fire table, it’s an inviting space to unwind and soak in the river views. Just steps away, a smokeless fire pit offers a cozy place to enjoy s’mores, stories, and starry night views.
Garage Entertainment Space & Outdoor Fun
Our garage entertainment space is all about fun. Inside, you’ll find shuffleboard, foosball, darts, and a smart TV with a cozy sectional sofa and bar area. The table is perfect for cards, games, or casual meals together. Outside, enjoy cornhole, pickleball, volleyball, badminton, golf putting green, or take a spin on our two bikes.
River Access & Adventures
Just steps from the front door, our private dock gives you direct access to the Mississippi River. Launch your boat, swim, fish, or use one of our kayaks or paddle board. It’s also the perfect place to watch wildlife. A public boat landing is located less than one mile south, making it easy to bring your own boat or water toys.
